A really weird one from somewhere around eleven or twelve years ago. @tomdelonge asked me to create a parody animation of ET discovering his shiny finger powers for a product launch he was doing at the time. The directions were something like: make it funny dumb pathetic silly awkward (can't remember the exact wording) I animated it in Flash, which felt pretty limited next to the 2D tools we have today. The whole thing took about three or four weeks from start to finish. It's interesting to look back and see how many things I'd do differently nowadays.
