my fall semester animation final!! we were tasked to animate a character interacting with an object being passed into our scene, then passing another object into the next, and i chose to do wirt from otgw 😌 i’m a little...indifferent towards this animation as a whole, i don’t think i was as ambitious/challenged myself to the same level as my BMA cycle and there are areas where i could’ve been more on model 😭 but overall i’m content with it. i surprised myself by being able to straight ahead the cloth physics without much reference and i’m happy with how smooth my animation has become...kat’s class is genuinely my favorite i’ve taken at calarts so far...everyone’s assignments were so fun to see and i’m looking forward to next semester >:D the explosion animation was inspired by a tutorial by the SPA studios youtube channel! #wirt #2danimation #overthegardenwall
