Keeping a character alive. My rough animation of EB thinking. I haven't shared any Green Eggs and Ham stuff for a while. This is a very simple scene of EB thinking and turning her head etc. Sometimes the clean up artists can loose the intended subtleties in a scene like this, like the overlap in the pony tale etc. But I was happy to have Tod Jacobsen be the one who took it through the clean up stage (I don't have that version to show). But it turned out great. I was so impressed with his clean up work and better yet how he knew very well the intension of the animator and didn't loose any of it. Anyway I was so glad to have known him and work with him. As many of you in the industry already know Tod passed away a couple weeks ago. Such a positive guy in the face of what he was going through even at that time battling cancer.
