Years ago I was inspired by a shot that another animator had done on a film that we were both working on, with a character putting on a jacket. I always wanted to try that. I like that in hand drawn animation we get to animate things like clothing and hair (unlike CG, where these things are simmed). When I was cast to work on the Pixar Spark short Kitbull, I wanted to prepare by animating a test shot to get more comfortable with TVPaint and I used to the jacket idea.
